After the sorrow of the cross came the glory of resurrection.
Easter Sunday is the cornerstone of our faith—the day that changed everything.
As written in Matthew 28:6:
“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.”
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is not just a historical event—it is the foundation of our hope as believers.
It signifies victory over sin, over death, and over every limitation of this world.
Because He lives, we have life.
Because He rose, we are no longer bound.
Easter reminds us that no situation is beyond God’s power. What seemed like defeat on Good Friday became triumph on Sunday morning.
For us as Christians, this is a call to live in that victory:
- To walk in newness of life
- To embrace the freedom we have in Christ
- To live with hope, regardless of circumstances
The resurrection is proof that God keeps His promises.
And just as Christ was raised, we too are called to rise—above sin, above fear, and into the fullness of the life God has prepared for us.
He is risen indeed.
