There are moments in the life of a church that are both deeply emotional and profoundly beautiful—moments when we celebrate not just a person, but a journey shaped by faith, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion to God.

Such was the atmosphere as we gathered to honor and bid farewell to one of our own, Pastor Abel Fannah.

From the very beginning, Abel’s story has been intertwined with the growth of our church. Dating back to 2012, he stood among the pioneering youth of the Mokonde branch—those early days marked by humble gatherings at the court barray, transitioning through the bafetariat, and eventually witnessing the establishment of a permanent place of worship.

Through every phase, Abel remained constant.

His commitment was never limited to attendance—it was expressed through service, dedication, and a genuine passion for the advancement of God’s kingdom. Under the mentorship of Rev. Charles Sao Lavalie, Abel grew not only in responsibility but in spiritual depth, humility, and leadership.

Over the years, we watched him evolve—faithfully serving, steadily rising, and ultimately answering a higher calling into pastoral ministry.

Today, Pastor Abel stands as more than a leader. He is a husband, a father, and a living testimony of what God can do through a life fully surrendered.

As he takes on his new role as Assistant Pastor of New Harvest Global Ministry, Kenedy Branch in Bo City, we do not see this as a goodbye—but as a divine sending.

Though his absence will be felt deeply, his impact remains woven into the fabric of our church. His influence on the youth, his service to the ministry, and his example of steadfast faith will continue to inspire generations to come.

With hearts full of gratitude and hope, we celebrate you, Pastor Abel.

May God grant you wisdom, strength, and grace in this new assignment. May your ministry flourish, and may your life continue to bring glory to His name.

Go forth and do greater works.
